Cold Cathode Germicidal Lamps

Short Description:

Cold cathode germicidal lamps are designed with small structure, long life and low lamp power, they emit 254nm (ozone free), or 254nm and 185nm (ozone generating) to kill microorganisms, only operating for several minutes, so they are extensively used in sterilizers for toothbrush, make-up brush, mite predator, vehicle disinfection devices, vacuum cleaners etc.. There are two types used commonly, Linear germicidal lamps (GCL) and U-shaped germicidal lamps (GCU).

The cold cathode lamp has a small structure design, long life and low power. It can emit 254nm (no ozone type), or 254nm and 185nm (high ozone type) ultraviolet light to kill microorganisms. Therefore, this lamp is mainly used in small appliances such as toothbrush sterilizers, beauty brush sterilizers, mite removers, disinfection cabinets, air purifiers, portable UV germicidal lamps, car disinfection, shoe deodorization, vacuum cleaners, etc. It only takes a few minutes sterilization process.
There are usually two types that are widely used, linear lamps (GCL) and U-shaped lamps (GCU)
