The rated insulation voltage of the Dada DAM3-160 molded case circuit breaker can reach up to 100V. These electrical devices are suitable for power distribution circuits with an alternating current of 50-60Hz, a rated operating voltage up to 750V, and rated operating current from 10A to 100A. The circuit breaker plays a vital role in distributing power and protecting the circuit and power equipment from overloading, short circuits, and undervoltage failure damage. They can also be used in electric motors for infrequent starting and overload protection as well as protection against short circuiting and undervoltage conditions.
Compared with the DAM1 series, the DAM3 series are designed for smaller volume, higher breaking capacity, offering additional energy savings.

The DAM3-160molded case circuit breaker automatically cuts off the current when the current exceeds the release setting. The molded case refers to the plastic insulator used as the frame of the device to insulate the conductor and the metal grounding componen
Note: Product details are attached.
Compact (Saving space)
Unbeatable when it comes to saving space: In the range of circuit breakers, the DAM3 slimmest in their class and can therefore use the valuable distribution space most efficiently, regardless of whether they are used for energy sub-distribution or as a protection for incoming power in residential or functional buildings.
The 160 frame size compare with other brand, are smallest but powerful.
Direct Opening
Under the heading “Measures to minimize the risk in the event of failure”,
IEC 60204-1 Safety of Machinery-Electrical Equipment of Machinery includes the following recommendation:
“-the use of switching devices having positive (or direct) opening operation.”
Touch Safety
The risk of touching live parts has been minimized by design. These features reduce the risk of touching live parts:
There are no exposed metal screws on the front face
IP20 protection at the terminals
IP30 protection at the toggle
If the toggle is broken by accident or misuse, no live part is exposed
No live parts are exposed when fitting accessories
Double Insulation
Visual Safety (Indication window)
Coloured indicators display the ON or OFF status. The indicators are fully covered if the breaker trips, and black is the only visible colour.
Off (O) On (I) Tripped
Simple
Easy to handle:
For a fast starting are thermal and magnetic tripping values already fixed.
The DAM3 series is absolutely easy to handle and allows for quick installation when executing your jobs.
.Mounting on 35mm DIN Rail (patent protected)
It is easily fitted to the rear of 2/3 pole DAM3-160 models to allow clip mounting of the MCCB to 35mm DIN rail.
Which makes them suitable for mounting alongside modular devices in distribution boards.

In complying with the IEC/EN 60947-2 standards and pollution degree III (IEC/EN 60947) we not only ensure the material but also the immaterial values of the DAM3 circuit breaker series. And with our DAM3 series, we also show consideration for the environment as these circuit breakers conform to the RoHS directives and can be recycled to a large extent. And last but not least一the stylish outfit of theDAM3 series in the distinctive CDADA design makes these products attractive not only from a technical but also from an aesthetic point of view.
Small and Powerful
The DAM3-160 provides protection with rated currents up to 160 A and 36 kA breaking capacity, despite its light weight and slim width of only 25 mm per pole. The star within the circuit breaker family, is available as a 2, 3 or 4-pole device. For a fast starting are thermal and magnetic tripping values already fixed by CDADA.And it has an extremely long lifespan of up to 10,000 mechanical operating cycles. In addition, thanks to its terminal cover, the DAM3 features an IP 10 degree of protection.
Multiple mounting options
Upside-down or horizontal? It is up to you how you wish to mount the DAM3.But regardless of the mounting position and the side you choose for the supply of power, it will always provide the full protective function.
Cable Fixing: Cable lug and box terminal
The proven cable lug with M8 screws and the box terminal technology for quick and easy mounting: both are included in the standard range of products.
Solutions Made To Measure
Remote tripping, signalling the switching status or under-voltage releasing in case of security relevant applications all of this is easy to manage for the DAM3.Thanks to the comprehensive range of accessories, the DAM3 will not only be the perfect match for standard applications, but also the ideal solution for individual handling requirements.
Upon request the DAM3 is also available with a rotary handle (for direct mounting or door coupling).

The main contact of DAM3-160 molded case circuit breaker is manual manipulation or electric closing. After the main contact is closed, the free release mechanism locks the main contact into the closing position. The overcurrent trip coil and the thermal trip element are connected in series with the main circuit. The undervoltage trip coil and the power supply are connected in parallel.
