Erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA), due to spontaneous emission (ASE) noise and cascades, the accumulation of spontaneous emission noise, will greatly reduce the SNR of system receiver, thus limits the system capacity and non-relay distance. The new generation of Raman fiber amplifier (ZRA1550) achieves the amplification of the optical signal by the optical gain generated by the Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS). FRA has a wide gain spectrum; the gain bandwidth can be further broadened by the use of multi-wavelength optical pump. After many years of research and network testing, our company develop and produce the series of ZRA1550 Raman fiber amplifier, and introduce it to the ultra-long haul optical fiber CATV transmission, specifically in combination with the EDFA applications, the improvement of the indicators of the link is particularly evident, thus get more flat gain spectra and higher optical signal to noise ratio (OSNR).
This series of products adopt 1430nm or 1455nm high linearity, optical isolation, the DFB, thermoelectric cooling DFB laser produced by JDSU, Fitel and other world-renowned semiconductor companies as the pumping source. In the interior of the machine is equipped with the optical output power stability circuit and laser thermoelectric cooling device, temperature stability control circuit to ensure optimal machine performance and long-life laser stability. The microprocessor software monitors the lasers’ working state, the Digital Panel (VFD) displays the operating parameters.
